Massage Therapy
Treatments are a combination of Barefoot Massage, Myofascial Release, and classic Swedish massage techniques. Sessions are tailored according to client preferences, the areas being treated, and my clinical judgement. Client comfort and preference always comes first.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is the application of slow, sustained pressure to release areas of restriction within the fascia - the dense connective tissue web of the body. It helps reduce chronic pain, improve flexibility, and correct postural imbalances. It is soothing to the nervous system, and provides a wonderful opportunity to tune into the body on a deeper level to feel layers of tissue restriction release.
Barefoot Massage
Barefoot Massage is performed on a massage table with overhead parallel bars to provide stability and allow for precision. I use bare feet to provide long, flowing strokes, with broad, consistent pressure. Using the rounded surfaces of my feet means that deeper pressure can be applied without causing pain.
“As a Massage Therapist myself I can say that I’d not use anyone else.”
“Sarah is an incredible therapist, her professionalism and obvious care for her clients is admirable. Her skillsets are incredible and provide real relief and results. Especially if you’re wanting to try a barefoot massage (which I highly recommend you do), you won’t find a better therapist.”
